McKenzie has been involved in the publishing industry for the past 15 years, ranging from reading submissions to proofreading and line-editing to formatting, publishing, and marketing full-length books for independent authors and poets. She’s available for editing projects, design work, and occasional guest editing arrangements.

For nearly five years, she has also been navigating what it means to be an American living in another country after moving to Croatia in 2020. She began writing about her experiences as personal essays on Medium and later Substack, but then she was given opportunities to visit and review restaurants, small businesses, and tourist destinations. After living in Croatia for five years, writing entertainment pieces for 10 years, and now being ready to travel, she’s excited to offer reviews and UGC content as a Food & Travel writer.
